Orlando Pirates fans are worried that they might have seen the last of their defender Mbekezeli Mbokazi.
The 21-year-old is set to complete an imminent move to MLS side Chicago Fire. Against Chippa United, “TLB” was not named in Pirates’ matchday squad for the first time this season.
Before the match, Bucs head coach Abdeslam Ouaddou was asked about Mbokazi’s situation however, the Moroccan coach did not provide an answer.

Ouaddou started the match with captain Nkosinathi Sibisi and Lebone Seema, with Olisa Ndah making the bench for the first time this season. Although fans were excited to see Ndah, they questioned the omission of Mbokazi.
In the opening 30 minutes against Chippa, Pirates dominated the match but were vulnerable on the counter, which led many to call for Mbokazi.
