November bows out with fog, rain and rising heat

The last two days of November 2025 are looking mostly cloudy across Mpumalanga, the Free State, and the Northern Cape on Saturday, 29 November, and Sunday, 30 November.

NORTHERN CAPE

Expect morning fog patches over the western parts on Saturday. Otherwise, it’ll be fine and warm to hot, becoming partly cloudy in the afternoon. Cloudy conditions with light rain move in along the coast and nearby interior by the evening.

KIMBERLEY

Saturday brings partly cloudy and windy conditions, with temperatures ranging from 17°C to 28°C. Sunday heats up a bit, reaching a high of 30°C.

UPINGTON

On Saturday, Upington can expect partly cloudy and windy weather, with a minimum of 16°C and a maximum of 29°C. Sunday turns up the heat with a high of 34°C.

MPUMALANGA

Morning fog patches over the Highveld, otherwise partly cloudy and cool to warm with scattered showers and thundershowers, widespread over the Escarpment and Lowveld on Saturday.

MBOMBELA

Cloudy conditions are expected on both Saturday and Sunday, with temperatures ranging from 16°C to 32°C.

FREE STATE

Saturday starts with foggy patches over the northeast. Otherwise, it’ll be partly cloudy, cool to warm, with isolated showers and thundershowers except in the west.

BLOEMFONTEIN

A wet Saturday is on the cards, partly cloudy with isolated showers and thundershowers, with temperatures from 15°C to 28°C. On Sunday, the sun makes a comeback with a high of 28°C.
