Parents joined huge queues outside stores from 8am to get their hands on the bargains.
Some shoppers said their stores were operating a ticketed system in queues, with two-item limits set on bigger and more popular items.
Mums said they had been up since 5am to get to the front of the queue, with one saying she was “riddled with anxiety”.
