Several All Blacks players have teased Springbok fans in a TV advert ahead of their Rugby Championship clash next month.
South Africa and New Zealand – longtime rugby friends and rivals – will go head to head in two upcoming test matches.
ALL BLACKS PLAYERS TEASE SPRINGBOK FANS
In a TikTok video, rugby commentator Jordan Buhrs posted a clip of an advert being shown on New Zealand TV screens.
The ad was created by broadcaster Sky New Zealand, a company similar to South Africa’s DSTV that provides pay TV channels via satellite, media streaming services, and broadband internet services.
In the clip, a Springbok fan, played by SA TV actor Hennie Jacobs – visits a barbershop in New Zealand.
“The World Camps are coming. The All Blacks will be like little lamb chops on a braai”, the Bok fan boasted.
However, the joke was on him as the camera panned to the Kiwi barber etching a fern – the symbol of the All Blacks – on the back of the fan’s head.
In the waiting area, All Blacks players like Ardie Savea laughed off the encounter. “Nice fade, bro,” one said.
Buhrs used the ad to challenge Ardie to get the Springboks logo shaved into his own hair should the New Zealand team lose to their rivals.

SA VS NEW ZEALAND FIXTURES
Meanwhile, the Springboks are en route to New Zealand, where they will play two away games.
The boys in green and gold – captained by Siya Kolisi – will play against the All Blacks on 6 September at Eden Park in Auckland. A week later, they will face off again on 13 September at the Sky Stadium in Wellington.
