THE Labour government is set to introduce digital IDs for the UK in a bid to crack down on illegal immigrants.
Sir Keir Starmer has given his full support to the scheme, which will become mandatory as a means of proving the right to work.

The aim is to stop rogue bosses hiring staff who should not be here and tackle illegal immigration.
Under the current plans, the IDs will be available to all UK citizens and legal residents by the end of this Parliament.
