The sphere-shaped chocolate comes with the classic orange-flavoured milk chocolate and crunchy toffee pieces.

Shoppers could not believe their eyes when it was spotted on Tesco shelves this week.

The product is scanning for £2 or £1.80 if you have a Clubcard.

Fans of the chocolate have in the past described it as the “best” and “better than the original”.

Another happy customer said: “This is the best chocolate I’ve tasted in my life! What a combo that works so perfect.”

While another sweet-toothed shopper said the choc was the “bee-knees”.

And a fourth simply said “yes please”.

If you want to get your hands on the product you will need to head to your nearest Tesco it does not appear to be available to shop online.

You can find your nearest Tesco by visiting, www.tesco.com/store-locator/.

Terry’s Chocolate brings out a range of flavours for customers to enjoy.

That includes a mint, dark chocolate and plain milk chocolate version.

With Christmas, less than 100 days away many supermarkets are stocking a range of festive chocolates.

Quality Street has launched an all new mystery flavour in a first for the brand.

The flavour will remain a mystery until December.

Plus, it will not be available in the usual Quality Street tins.

You can only shop it at pick and mix stations at John Lewis and Waitrose stores nationwide.

Elsewhere, Tesco is running an offer where you can pick up a 550g Quality Street tub for £3.95 – but the offer is not available to everyone.

To cash in on the deal you will need to scan your Tesco Clubcard at the till or use it online, otherwise you’ll have to pay £7.

How to save money on chocolate

We all love a bit of chocolate from now and then, but you don’t have to break the bank buying your favourite bar.

Consumer reporter Sam Walker reveals how to cut costs…

Go own brand – if you’re not too fussed about flavour and just want to supplant your chocolate cravings, you’ll save by going for the supermarket’s own brand bars.

Shop around – if you’ve spotted your favourite variety at the supermarket, make sure you check if it’s cheaper elsewhere.

Websites like Trolley.co.uk let you compare prices on products across all the major chains to see if you’re getting the best deal.

Look out for yellow stickers – supermarket staff put yellow, and sometimes orange and red, stickers on to products to show they’ve been reduced.

They usually do this if the product is coming to the end of its best-before date or the packaging is slightly damaged.

Buy bigger bars – most of the time, but not always, chocolate is cheaper per 100g the larger the bar.

So if you’ve got the appetite, and you were going to buy a hefty amount of chocolate anyway, you might as well go bigger.
