Breaking News: Orlando Pirates defender to Kaizer Chiefs

Kaizer Chiefs have a decision to make. Should they sign Thabiso Monyane from Orlando Pirates as a free agent?

The 25-year-old South African junior international’s contract with Orlando Pirates expires this month, and the Sea Robbers have made no effort to offer a new deal.

According to SABC Sports’ Mazola Molefe, Monyane’s representatives have offered the Orlando Pirates defender to Kaizer Chiefs.

Monyane made only five appearances for Orlando Pirates last season. The reasons were a long-term injury, the arrival of Deano Van Rooyen, and Bandile Shandu’s return to fitness.

Despite the disappointing season, Monyane has 95 top-flight matches for Orlando Pirates at the age of 25, experience that Kaizer Chiefs would appreciate.

Additionally, Kaizer Chiefs’ right-back area is not quite taken. Reeve Frosler is nursing a long-term injury, while Dillan Solomons has shown promise but no consistency.

SHOULD KAIZER CHIEFS SIGN THABISO MONYANE?
