CARDI B has opened up about the toll her career has taken on her life, saying it has led to depression and was a factor in the breakdown of her marriage to rapper Offset.
The Wap singer said: “Last year, I was planning to have an album. I was planning to put out an album, but I couldn’t focus.

The rapper said her chaotic career led to depression and was a factor in the breakdown of her marriage to rapper Offset[/caption]
“I fell into the deepest depression that I had ever had. And with that depression, I couldn’t function.
“I couldn’t eat, I couldn’t sleep, I couldn’t do nothing.
“It was just a lot of pressure from my career. And I also felt like my marriage . . . like I felt the love dying.”
On the pressures facing artists, she explained: “It’s a challenge to stay here. It’s a challenge to stay relevant.
“It’s a challenge to keep your mental health right. It’s a challenge to getting up. Every day is a challenge.”
But the star, who dropped album Am I The Drama? last month, added: “I started feeling really good. I had bad days. I have good days, because I feel like I’m resetting in life.”
A-HA Paul: There’s Morten come
A-HA guitarist Paul Waaktaar-Savoy is working on a solo album and wants his bandmate Morten Harket to feature on it.
Morten is currently taking a break from the spotlight after revealing in June that he had been diagnosed with Parkinson’s disease.

Paul told the A-ha: Ranking Highs And Lows podcast: “I am doing a solo album. In my head I often hear Morten on it. If I was a director he would be my first guy to offer the job to. You always want to have that window open.”
He added of the record: “I am super-happy with the songs. I have never done a solo album so it could be interesting to do it in a different way and maybe have a couple of singers come in.”
It’s been 40 years since the group released their debut single Take On Me. But clearly Paul’s love of music is still going strong.
That’s a bit Rich
NO one can accuse Richard E. Grant of not having a sense of humour.
The actor walked the runway at Paris Fashion Week wearing a leather apron over a standard jumper and trousers combo.

The bizarre move for Miu Miu was watched by Kylie Jenner AND Emma Watson.
Posting on Instagram as he travelled through the French capital, Richard said: “Solo in Paris hearing Frank Sinatra in my head.”

Speaking on the latest episode of The Red Carpet Treatment – On The Road podcast, she said: “Adele was in the year above. We wrote a song on maybe the first week of me being there, and I was like, ‘Oh my God, she’s so cool’. That was one of the first songs I ever wrote.”
Biebargh!
HIS 2015 hit Sorry was one of the biggest of his career.
And Justin Bieber may want to revisit that when he checks out of his luxury stay at the Gleneagles five-star golf resort.

I’m told by one hotel guest that Justin’s decision to tell his fans he was at the resort has gone down like a lead balloon.
The normally peaceful retreat has been swamped by Beliebers, to the point that extra security has now been put on to keep eager fans at bay.
Meanwhile, bosses are said to be growing tired of Bieber and his posse booking up tables at all the resort restaurants then failing to show.
A source said: “Justin and his team keep booking tables at every restaurant which means no one knows where he is going to pop up and other guests can’t get reservations. It’s really annoying for both staff and guests.
“The hotel has also been swamped by fans desperate to get a picture with him – it’s so random he’s here in Scotland that no one can quite believe it.”
It’s been a busy year for Justin.
The singer has already put out two records, Swag and Swag II.
Hopefully some live shows are coming next year.
Maya’s putting on the spirtz
MAYA JAMA is red-y for a change.
The Love Island host is launching two new Gordon’s Spritz drinks – Elderflower & Lime and Strawberry & Passion Fruit flavours – after previously fronting its Pink gin range.

Dressed in a red dress and matching headband, Maya appears to have taken inspiration from the colourful tipple.
She is so close with the brand that I wouldn’t be surprised if she started stocking it in the Love Island villa.
Think Pink
PINKPANTHERESS released one of the most fun records of the year with Fancy That – and now she’s done a star-studded remix.
She has expanded the nine-track project and on Friday, drops the new version featuring Kylie Minogue, Zara Larsson, Jade, Sugababes, Ravyn Lenae, Basement Jaxx, Joe Goddard, Groove Armada, Anitta and many more.
Freya puts fire in album
FREYA RIDINGS is preparing to make a comeback and has given Bizarre a special taste of her upcoming third album.
The singer, who has one of the best voices in British music and has had hits including Castles and Lost Without You, has signed to top label BMG and has spent more than a year working on the new collection.
I can reveal it will be out in 2026 and features some of her most emotional lyrics to date, with the first taste of the project coming in the next few weeks.
Freya, who also plays the ukulele on one of the tracks I got to hear, said: “This album has a lot of fire but also a lot of true stories – stories that I haven’t really told before.”
After what I’ve heard so far, I’m excited for more.
