Celebrity Traitors’ Clare Balding works out ‘world’s worst traitor’ Alan Carr’s game plan just two episodes into show

CELEBRITY Traitors star Clare Balding has already figured out “world’s worst traitor” Alan Carr’s game plan

Last night fans watched as Alan, 49, committed the first murder in plain sight – but it looks like someone is already on to him.

The comedian was chosen to be a Traitor alongside Jonathan Ross and Cat Burns during Wednesday’s first episode.

However, despite Crufts presenter Clare, 54, not knowing this, it looks like she has rumbled him.

It came after it was revealed that Paloma Faith was the first person to be murdered – despite her being Alan’s good friend.

In last night’s The Traitors, Clare was seen discussing who she thinks could be a Traitor, and Alan was top of her list.

Speaking to the camera, the presenter said: “Taking out someone as big and loud and wonderful as Paloma, that’s a bold move.

“And obviously, Paloma and Alan, I mean, they are like best mates. But could it be Alan?

“Could Alan have actually done in Paloma, straight off, sent her home, knowing that nobody would ever think he would do that?”

FIRST MURDER

Last night, viewers watched Alan murder his mate Paloma in plain sight – that no one saw coming

It came after the three Traitors were tasked with committing their first murder in plain sight, and Alan was the one who had to do the dastardly deed.

He had to touch the black lily and then touch his victim’s face to make it clear who he was murdering.

After wondering around in a mild panic, he eventually headed into the kitchen with his friend Paloma and actress Ruth Codd.

He committed the deadly act before heading down to the fire outside with other celebrities.

‘WORST TRAITOR EVER’

However, Alan shocked fans when he winked at fellow Traitor Jonathan to let him know he had committed the murder.

Viewers of the show have already had their doubts so far about the comedian’s ability as a traitor – and this wink cemented this.

Fans took to X to share their shock at Alan’s wink and ‘it’s done’ statement.

One person penned: “Oh wow, Alan has to be the worst traitor to have ever existed.”

BURIED ALIVE

Meanwhile, later in the turret, Jonathan and Cat asked him who he had chosen, and Alan revealed he had been forced to pick his friend Paloma.

After committing the murder, all the celebrities turned up to breakfast, before Claudia arrived and told them to get ready for a funeral.

The celebrities than joined the procession before arriving at three coffins.

They were then given clues to work out which three celebrities the Traitors had put in the coffins.

It ended up being Lucy Beaumont, Paloma and Niko Omilana.

Claudia then walked the line and dramatically closed the lid on Paloma, leaving the remaining celebrities absolutely gobsmacked.
