David Stearns doing things his way just took his Mets pressure to whole new level

One reason Cohen hired Stearns was to do what he thought was right and be steely against media/fan blowback. The Wilpons ran the organization constantly reacting to media/fans — and failed miserably. Stearns is showing he is going to do it his way.
