Yet another wildfire is raging in the Boyes Drive area in Lakeside, with road closures imminent.
Ward 71 Councillor Carolynne Franklin took to social media on Sunday morning to confirm the fire was in the region between Lakeside and Muizenberg and that motorists should avoid the area.
In addition, Main Road is expected to be seriously impacted.
She thanked those who reported the fire as well as the City Services for their response.
