Mamelodi Sundowns are guaranteed a whopping R36 million after beating South Korean side Ulsan HD FC on Wednesday.
The Tshwane giants are one of the four teams representing the African continent at the 2025 FIFA Club World Cup in the US.
And oon Wednesday, Sundowns stunned Ulsan 1-0 to become the first African team to win a match at the tournament.
Al Ahly drew their match against Lionel Messi’s Inter Miami while Esperance de Tunis were beat 2-0 by Flamengo.
Wydad Athletic Club will only be in action on Wednesday, 18 June against Manchester City.
Kick-off is at 18:00 SA time.

SUNDOWNS BANK R36 MILLION
Now, with FIFA having raised the bar by throwing money at clubs as part of increasing competitiveness, Sundowns will be smiling to the bank.
Having already received R174 million for their qualification, Sundowns are now guaranteed a further R36 million for beating Ulsan.
A draw would have earned them R18 million but Sundowns looked beyond that, making sure they outsmart their opponents.
Overall, Sundowns are already guaranteed to pocket R210 million at this year’s FIFA Club World tournament.
