Interesting weather conditions have been experienced across the country. Social media has been flooded with pictures of a natural phenomenon lighting up the country on Thursday.
A strikingly bright halo was spotted around the sun. Let’s see what the sky has in store for you on Friday, 27 November, in Mpumalanga, the Free State and the Northern Cape.
NORTHERN CAPE
The weather will be fine in the west, otherwise partly cloudy. Expect to feel the heat, though, as it is expected to be hot with isolated showers and thundershowers over the central parts, but scattered in the extreme east.
KIMBERLEY
Partly cloudy with scattered showers and thundershowers, with temperatures ranging from 16°C to 26°C.
UPINGTON
Partly cloudy conditions are also expected in Upington. However, it will be a boiler with a minimum of 23°C and a maximum of 35°C.
MPUMALANGA
Cloudy and cool conditions are expected with widespread showers and thundershowers. In the Lowveld, it will be warm in places.
MBOMBELA
Over in Mbombela, it will be cloudy with widespread showers and thundershowers. Conditions are expected to range from 17°C to 24°C.
FREE STATE
Partly cloudy and cool to warm with widespread showers and thundershowers in the Free State, but cloudy in the east where it will be widespread.
BLOEMFONTEIN
It will be partly cloudy with scattered showers and thundershowers. You can expect a minimum of 15°C and a maximum of 25°C.
