A THUG who left a grandad in a coma with a brain injury walked free from court — and then stuck up a middle finger to justice.

Ahmed could now face arrest for contempt of court for taking a pic within the court precinct.
Tonight, tormented Mick hit out at soft justice Britain for letting Ahmed swagger out of court a free man after receiving a suspended jail term.
Mick appealed to the Attorney General for help but was told the offence was not covered by his powers of review.

In a powerful interview with The Sun, he fought to get his words out as a result of the catastrophic brain injury he suffered.
He said: “He got away with it. I might as well have just died on the night it happened. That is how I feel.
“When the judge handed him the sentence, I just could not believe what I had heard. I lost my job and my sanity. I did not want to be here.
“If it wasn’t for my wife and my children, I wouldn’t be here today, talking with you.
“I do not feel justice was served at all. It has failed me in a big way. That’s why I have these thoughts of not wanting to be here any more.”
In a message to his attacker, he said: “You told the court you were sorry but I saw your Snapchat picture. I do not believe you are sorry. You’re out there laughing at me whilst I’m struggling day to day.”
Ahmed attacked Mick in June last year as the victim made his way home from a night out with relatives in his home town of Bingley, West Yorks.
Mick had intervened to protect a woman after Ahmed knocked a phone out of her hand in a violent confrontation.
He was taken to hospital and was in a coma for two days.
He was then placed on a ventilator in intensive care to help with his breathing.
Former production manager Mick was discharged after 11 weeks.
He still needs crutches, is in physio and has speech therapy sessions once a week.
Ahmed, of nearby Shipley, admitted unlawful wounding without intent and got 18 months, suspended for two years, at Bradford crown court.
He declined to comment when asked by The Sun but denied taking the Snapchat pic.
