GABBY LOGAN jokingly caught Match of the Day 2 pundit Joe Hart out for focusing on Europe’s Ryder Cup win instead of football.
The 38-year-old former Manchester City and England goalkeeper, was in the studio to review Aston Villa’s impressive comeback win over Fulham and Arsenal’s super-late away triumph at Newcastle.

Golf fan Hart took the gag with good grace and replied “no comment”[/caption]
But the retired stopper seemed to have kept an eye on Rory McIlroy and captain Luke Donald’s heroics at Bethpage instead.
When asked to summarise the weekend’s most eye-catching Premier League action, Hart said: “It was like the Ryder Cup, wasn’t it?
“One minute Liverpool were running away with it and suddenly a late goal at Crystal Palace costs them.
“And then Arsenal one-nil down but they kept fighting.
“I have to credit the Arsenal players, as a fellow ex professional, I think Arsenal’s mentality on the field was exceptional.”
Host Logan sussed that Hart had not missed a beat of Europe’s second consecutive win, and asked: “Have you been watching the Ryder Cup today while we’ve been watching football?

And Hart replied: “No comment!”
The proud Englishman would have loved watching Donald’s aces trump Donald Trump’s boys, with the controversial president watching his sides defeat.
Especially after a handful of US fans caused ugly scenes with excessive heckling and sledging of our brave travelling Europeans.
Spain’s Jon Rahm said of the supreme skipper, “Luke is the captain of this ship, and he’s led us better than I can see anybody leading us.
“He set the bar extremely high for the future captains.”
And vanquished USA captain Keegan Bradley reckons back-to-back wins in Rome and New York elevate Donald above all previous European Ryder Cup captains.
“I think he turned this European team into a really unstoppable force,” he said.
“He put his team in the best position to win, and to do that at these two places is a remarkable feat.”
