Gabrielle Union and former NBA star Dwyane Wade joyfully marked their 11th wedding anniversary on 30 August.
The couple, married since 2014, shared a touching message and a video collage on social media, celebrating their enduring love.

The actress, 52, and the sportsman, 43, reflected on their journey with warmth. They wrote, “Eleven years of marriage and I’m still waking up next to my best friend.
Laughing through the adventures, dancing through the challenges, and raiding the snack cabinet together.” They described their marriage as “the best sleepover we get to call home.”
The pair continued by expressing gratitude for the support they received. “Thank you to everyone who continues to pray over our union, wade beside us, and pour into our family. We don’t take it for granted,” they said.
Ending on a hopeful note, they added, “Here’s to more years of love, laughter, and everything in between. Forever, to eternity, and to us.”

Gabrielle Union and Wade’s love story began in 2007, but they only started dating two years later.
Gabby had just divorced NFL player Chris Howard, while Wade was still married to his ex-wife, Siohvaughn Funches.
They went public with their relationship in 2010, got engaged in 2013, then married the following year.

The couple shares a daughter, Kaavia James, aged six. Wade is also a father to three other children from previous relationships and a legal guardian of his nephew.
Speaking to PEOPLE in 2021, Union said, “This is both of our second marriages… We didn’t do it right the first time.
This time we humble ourselves, listen, and meet in the middle.” Their honesty and openness have endeared them to many.
