Galatasaray vs Liverpool preview
Liverpool head for Turkey looking to make it two wins from two in the Champions League this term.
But they head there fresh off the back of their first defeat of the season.
Arne Slot’s men had won all five league games, their Carabao Cup tie and Champions League opener against Atletico Madrid prior to defeat at Selhurst Park.
It was a taste of their own medicine too, conceding a goal deep, deep into stoppage time – ironically assisted by Marc Guehi.
The warning signs had been there for the Reds up until then having won their previous six games all by the one singular goal.
Galatasaray were thumped 5-1 at Frankfurt on their opening night of the Champions League, which hardly strikes fear into the Anfield side.
But the Turkish giants have created a fortress and are a remarkable 27 straight games unbeaten at home in all competitions.
