Greggs axes ‘amazing’ drink from all stores and customers are devastated

GREGGS has axed a popular drink from its menu and fans say they’re “beside themselves”.

The Peach Iced Tea is no longer available at the bakery chain after it was introduced back in March.

The Sun understands it could be brought back next summer but there is no guarantee.

The iced drink came out alongside the Mint Lemonade on Greggs’ spring menu.

It was priced at £2.55 upwards.

The drink was made with a peace flavour syrup and tea extract for a sweet and refreshing taste.

One customer complained: “I’m devastated my sugar craving Peach Iced Tea has been taken off the menu.”

Another wrote on x: “Greggs are discontinuing their peach iced tea after summer and im beside myself…. my little work sweet treat….”

Others had described the drink as “delicious and so refreshing”.

One fan said: “The peach tea tastes just like Liptons, love it!”

Another simply said it was “amazing”.

But others complained the Peach Iced Tea and Mint Lemonade had included far too much ice.

“They’re a rip off, mostly ice. My daughter was very disappointed. Rather pay more somewhere like Starbucks and get an actual drink,” one person said.

The Sun understands the Peach Iced Tea has been replaced on the menu by the Pumpkin Spice Latte.

The sweet drink includes freshly ground coffee with frothy steamed milk and pumpkin spice flavour syrup with sugar and sweetener, topped with cream and a sprinkle of spiced sugar.

It costs £2.75 and has 208 calories.

What else is on the Greggs autumn menu?

This is available in a two slice box for £5.45, four slice box for £7.95 and a six slice box for £9.95.
