HUGE update given on Sipho Mbule to Kaizer Chiefs transfer!

Kaizer Chiefs are scouring the market in search of quality players to help them improve their squad for next season.

Chiefs had a divisive season last campaign, having won the Nedbank Cup but finished out of the top 8.

Chiefs set for jam packed season

The finishing outside the top eight was particularly concerning for Chiefs as it was the second consecutive season. That also means they failed to qualify for next season’s MTN8 seeing them have one less trophy to complete for. But on the other side, their Nedbank Cup victory sees them qualify for continental football. Amakhosi will be back in Africa for the first time since the 2020/21 season when they reached the CAF Champions League final.

In the 2025/26 season Chiefs will play in the CAF Confederation Cup in what could be a busy season. They will have to balance the travelling and playing on the continent with playing local competitions. In order to do this, they will need quality squad depth but they will have to be clever on the market too. Already they’re set to completed two free agent signings in Paseka Mako and Thabiso Monyane from Orlando Pirates. That could end up being the theme of the window with all the quality free agents available.

Agent confirms Mbile offered to Amakhosi

Now according to agent Mike Makaab he has also offered his client Sipho Mbule to Chiefs heading to next season.

“Let me set the record straight. Sipho Mbule has been offered to Kaizer Chiefs. It is up to the club to make the decision and we need to respect that decision.” Makaab wrote on his X account.

After making it public, Makaab has now shown the Chiefs fans that the ball is in their court regards Mbule. Amakhosi were rumoured to have had an interest in the playmaker at the start of the previous season. It was thought that Mamelodi Sundowns offered them both Mbule and Terrance Mashego
