A YOUNG woman has revealed the celebrity-loved beauty treatment she thinks is a “scam.”
Nadia Bowes claimed that not only did her results barely last two weeks, but the procedure was expensive too.

Posting on social media, the beauty fan was eager to set the record straight on lip blush – a semi-permanent cosmetic procedure which consists of implanting pigment into lips.
The beauty treatment uses a tattooing technique to enhance the lip’s colour, shape and improve any unevenness lips may have.
It’s a procedure loved and promoted by numerous celebrities, including Olivia Attwood and Charlotte Crosby.
Not only did the Love Island legend rave about the treatment for making her look like she has “a bit of lippy on,” but the Geordie Shore star previously beamed about being “over the moon” with her results from the treatment.
But now, in a short clip shared online, Nadia got candid on the treatment and urged people to “save your money on this one.”
As Nadia applied lip liner, the content creator said: “Lip blush is the biggest scam ever – it’s actually painful how much of a scam it is.
“I have had lip blush done and it was the biggest waste of money ever. Ever.”
Nadia confirmed that she paid €300 [£261] for the treatment and acknowledged that she wasn’t disappointed with the woman who did her lip blush, but by the procedure in general.
She continued: “No shade to the woman who [did] it – she is really, really good, and she [did] an amazing job – it’s not about her, it’s about the actual service itself. It does not last.”
Typically, lip blushing is said to last for one to three years.
However, the exact duration depends on individual factors such as skin type, lifestyle and aftercare.
The colour gradually fades over time, and most people benefit from a colour refresh or touch-up every one to two years to maintain the desired vibrancy and density of the pigment.
It didn’t last. It’s a waste of money and I’m here to de-influence you

However, Nadia, who described herself as “the biggest lip liner person in the whole world,” confirmed that while her lips looked “grand” after the treatment, only two weeks later, they had “faded.”
As a result, she continued: “It didn’t last. It’s a waste of money and I’m here to de-influence you.”
