Inside Nicole Scherzinger’s stunning Royal Albert Hall show with rude jokes, ‘classy’ new track & Pussycat Dolls medley

CHEEKY star Nicole Scherzinger turned the air blue as she hosted a stunning one-woman show at London’s Royal Albert Hall.

The ex-Pussycat Dolls singer kicked off the evening by making a rude joke about hooking up with her fiancé, former rugby ace Thom Evans.

Dressed in a stunning tight black dress covered in a silver spiderweb pattern, Nicole told the crowd: “I want you to know that this little girl, this little Hawaiian, Filipina, Spanish, Chinese, Polish and Irish — that’s right, two per cent Irish, that counts — has come a long, long way.”

Smirking, she added: “I also have English in me. His name is Thom. That’s him over there.”

Lusting after her fiance may have left Nicole slightly confused, though. He’s actually Scottish.

Luckily, the joke went down well with the audience — many of whom were seated politely in their shirts and chinos as they sipped a glass of champagne.

Nicole later gushed: “I want to give a special shout out to the love of my life, Thom Henry Evans. Dreamboat Thom Henry Evans. I love you.”

Thom and Nicole first met after he took part in 2019’s The X Factor: Celebrity. The sportsman was part of rugby boyband Try Star alongside Levi Davis and Ben Foden.

Following in the footsteps of fellow vocal powerhouse Adele, the evening was part music, part stand-up comedy from Broadway star Nicole.

Sticking with her tongue-in-cheek shock tactics, Nicole went on to introduce a new “classy and sophisticated” track called Bullsh*t. ‘I love a cheeky Nando’s

She said: “This is my idea of a love song. It is about waiting for that special someone to get it together. I’m talking about popping the question. Putting a ring on it.

“I thought it’s a classy, elegant song — what better place to debut it than the Royal Albert Hall? “After all, there’s Keats, there’s Shakespeare and there’s Scherzinger. This song is called Bullsh*t.”

Nicole went on to strip down to a semi-sheer leotard and PVC heeled boots for a Pussycat Dolls medley.

The segment included some of the raunchiest moves I’m sure the Royal Albert Hall has ever seen.

The singer couldn’t resist cracking jokes — even bringing her Olivier and Tony awards on stage with her in a swipe at anyone who wrote her off as a one-trick pop diva.

Nicole, who was an on-off X Factor judge between 2012 and 2017, went on to gush over her love of Britain.

She said: “It’s been over 20 years now. I feel like I’m an adopted Brit now? I love a cuppa, I love a Sunday roast. I love cheeky Nando’s.

“Add in some banoffee pie and Percy Pig and we are on a Jet2 holiday.

“Seriously, though, thank you for your love and support throughout the years. Always lifting me up, especially when I needed it.

“No one does it alone. No one gets to the Royal Albert flipping Hall by doing it alone.”
