Kaizer Chiefs: All confirmed departures so far – UPDATE

Kaizer Chiefs have started to trim their squad before the transfer window even begins.

Kaizer Chiefs have released THREE players already.

Former striker, Ranga Chivaviro has officialy left Naturena. Meanwhile, Njabulo Blom has returned to the USA and fan-favourite Sabelo Radebe has also been released.

ALL CHIEFS DEPARTURES SO FAR

  • Ranga Chivaviro
  • Njabulo Blom
  • Sabelo Radebe

*We will continue to update this list on The South African as and when Chiefs departures are confirmed.

Initially, Ranga Chivaviro was released. So, now he is a free agent. The ex-Marumo Gallants striker failed to impress Amakhosi management during his time at Naturena.

So, it is clear that they yet again need to sign a clinical finisher in front of goal. Chiefs have identified these attackers as their main priority targets up front.

Meanwhile, former fan-favourite and Bafana Bafana star, Blom has returned back to the USA. Blom has re-joined St. Louis SC.

Finally, another former Chiefs fan-favourite, Radebe has also been released.

MORE DEPARTURES TO FOLLOW…

Three player departures have already taken place out of Naturena.

However, the transfer window has not even began. Meaning, several more Amakhosi players are likely heading out of Naturena.

In goal, Fiacre Ntwari faces a likely departure. Furthermore, in defence, the likes of Reeve Frosler, Edmilson Dove, Zitha Kwinika and Aden McCarthy (loan) are all linked with possible exits out of Chiefs.

Meanwhile, in the midfield, Edson Castillo, George Matlou and Mduduzi Mdantsane (currently on loan with Richards Bay) are all facing possible and likely exits.

Finally, up front Tashreeq Matthews faces an uncertain future after a very anticlimatic season with Chiefs.
