Kaizer Chiefs have 10 new players who have joined the first team.
Meanwhile, Soweto rivals, Orlando Pirates, have recruited 11 new players.

Initially, Shinka, Silva and Chislett were unveiled as Chiefs first signings.
Thereafter, Mako and Monyane were confirmed following their Pirates departures. Finally, Ndlovu was confirmed as Amakhosi’s sixth signing.
Meanwhile, Ranga Chivaviro, Sabelo Radebe, Njabulo Blom, Edmilson Dove, Mduduzi Shabalala, Yusuf Maart and Edson Castillo have all left Naturena.

ORLANDO PIRATES USHER IN NEW ERA
Pirates have a new head coach and they will have a new captain for the 2025/26 season.
So, the Bucs have recruited a whole new team worth of players. Meaning, they will look very different next season. Therefore, new coach, new captain, 11 new players will usher in the new era of Pirates football.
In contrast, they have released NINE players so far. So, Pirates have released Innocent Maela, Miguel Timm, Paseka Mako (Kaizer Chiefs), Thabiso Monyane (Kaizer Chiefs), Phillip Ndlondlo, Monnapule Saleng (Orbit College), Mohau Nkota (Al Ettifaq), Azola Tshobeni (Chippa United), Zakhele Lepasa (Unattached).
