The first new left-back has arrived at Kaizer Chiefs for next season’s Betway Premiership season.
Amakhosi have confirmed that Nkanyiso Shinga has put pen to paper on a contract with a Kaizer Chiefs logo on it.
The club revealed new information that the Durban-born Shinga is not only a left-back but has the versatility to play in midfield and attack.

The Soweto giants further revealed that Shinga will don the number 74 shirt. “Player Announcements! We are pleased to announce the signing of 25-year old Nkanyiso Shinga,” Kaizer Chiefs said. “The talented left-back is a versatile operator who can also play in midfield and attack. He will don jersey #74,” the club added.

The 25-year-old left Mzansi seven years ago after learning the ropes at the esteemed KZN Academy. The Durban-born player went on to play for seven different clubs in Portugal: Setúbal U19, Estrela U23, Vitória FC U23, SC Covilhã, Juv. Évora, Pinhalnovense, and Alverca.
