Kaizer Chiefs: Big-names they WON’t sign!

Kaizer Chiefs are linked with huge names in every position. However, some deal’s WON’t be happening.

Kaizer Chiefs have been linked with top stars from the likes of Orlando Pirates, Mamelodi Sundowns, Bafana Bafana and PSL rivals. Furthermore, players from African giants are also on their radar.

However, it turns out some of the biggest names linked to Amakhosi will NOT be joining them.

CHIEFS TO NOT PURSUE PERCY TAU

Bafana Bafana attacker Percy Tau is open to returning to the PSL.

Despite this, Chiefs will not be pursuing the ex-Sundowns and Al Ahly attacker. This is because they have learnt from their mistakes in the past with the likes of Keagan Dolly and Khama Billiat.

Interestingly, Tau has dropped a bombshell hinting at the possibility of playing for rivals Orlando Pirates.

Meanwhile, one of their main transfer targets – Fisten Mayele looks set to pursue offers elsewhere.

MAYELE BROTHER CONFIRMS THAT ‘PSL CHAPTER IS OVER’

“He doesn’t want South Africa anymore, so I’m surprised that Mayele is still being linked to Chiefs up to now,” he told KickOff.

“When Mayele wanted to come to South Africa, Chiefs turned us down and we moved on. The truth is that while at Yanga, he wanted to come to South Africa, but he was told about age, money, and so felt discouraged,” he added.

Furthermore, not even Pirates or Sundowns could lure him over. Mayele can make a lot more money in Saudi Arabia.

“He will not even come to Mamelodi Sundowns because the PSL chapter is gone. He now needs to make money and will move to Saudi Arabia, where his salary will be tripled before all other bonuses. We are talking proper money,” Bukasa continued.

“At his age, he needs to make money for himself and his family, and the best destination for him next is Saudi Arabia, where talks are already ongoing with clubs there,” he concluded.

Therefore, as things stand neither Percy Tau nor Fiston Mayele will be joining Chiefs.
