The good news keeps coming. After a strong start to the season, Chiefs are still active in the transfer window, which only closes on 22 September. They’ve snapped up Lebohang Maboe, son of former Orlando Pirates forward Sidwell Maboe.

“Kaizer Chiefs have officially signed midfielder Lebohang Maboe, marking their 10th acquisition of the current season,” the club confirmed in a statement on Tuesday.

“Maboe, who was part of the club’s youth development academy during his teenage years, returns to Naturena after stints with SuperSport United, Mamelodi Sundowns, and Maritzburg United. Over the course of his distinguished career in the Premier Soccer League, he has collected several trophies and accolades.”
