Did Chiefs dodge a bullet by not signing Appollis?
Oswin Appollis suffered a little from โsecond-seasonโ syndrome after a breakout campaign in 2023-2024 when he claimed six goals and three assists. In 2024-2025, the livewire winger only managed two goals and an assist from 25 league outings. Hardly earth-shattering numbers for a player expected to win games for hisย new manager, Abdeslam Ouaddou. Polokwane improved on 2024โs eighth-placed finish with a seventh-placed finish this time around, so itโs not as if his teammates regressed.
