Kaizer Chiefs have intensified their transfer activity by pursuing Siphesihle Ndlovu, currently on the books of SuperSport United. The dynamic midfielder, who made 30 appearances last season, chipped in with two goals and two assists, catching the eye of Amakhosi scouts.
Ndlovu arrived at SuperSport United in 2023 following a stint with Orlando Pirates, but his contract expires at the end of June 2025, a detail that has placed him firmly on Kaizer Chiefs’ radar.
“They want a midfielder to complement Thabo Cele, and Ndlovu fits that profile. Also they are still deciding whether or not to sign Sipho Mbule, and that would make their midfield really strong. With Ox Mthethwa also ending the season in a good way,” said a source close to the deal.
Chiefs moves already in motion
While Chiefs haven’t officially announced them yet, they’ve already secured the signatures of Thabiso Monyane and Paseka Mako. Both former Pirates defenders are expected to add quality and depth to the backline ahead of the 2025/2026 campaign.

Amakhosi aren’t done shopping just yet. The club also aims to land a striker, with Etiosa Ighodaro emerging as the top candidate to lead the line. Chiefs appear keen on assembling a squad capable of competing across all fronts in the new season.
If Kaizer Chiefs succeed in signing Siphesihle Ndlovu, it could prove to be a game-changing addition, particularly alongside Thabo Cele. Should Sipho Mbule also join, the Soweto giants would boast one of the most well-rounded midfields in the Betway Premiership.
