Princess Kate Middleton and U.S. First Lady Melania Trump stepped out together for the first time, marking a memorable moment in the Trumps’ state visit to the U.K
The Princess of Wales, 43, welcomed Melania Trump, 55, to Windsor’s Frogmore Gardens, where they joined a group of Scouts from the Squirrels programme.
KATE MIDDLETON WELCOMES THE FIRST LADY
The children, aged between four and six, were all working towards their ‘Go Wild’ badge, according to People.
The outing carried a personal touch from both women. Princess Kate arranged packed lunches for the group, including sandwiches made with honey from her family’s Norfolk estate at Anmer Hall.
Melania gifted each child a jar of White House honey.
KATE MIDDLETON SPENDS TIME WITH THE CHILDREN
Sitting on the grass, Princess Kate Middleton encouraged the children as they pressed inked leaves onto paper. “This is beautiful,” said Melania as she added a bear, sun and grass to a drawing.
At another table, a young girl led the First Lady by the hand to help build cardboard “bug hotels.” Asked her favourite insect, she replied with a smile: “A ladybug.”
The women then played alongside the children in a parachute game, laughing as balls bounced into the air.

Chief Scout Dwayne Fields praised Kate Middleton’s warmth. “When people speak about themselves, it feels like they’re giving you something, and that’s her superpower,” he said.
He also shared that during her cancer recovery, Kate found comfort in nature. “She told me, ‘The outdoors is where I feel at peace.’”

Scouts also have a strong tradition across South Africa, where outdoor education remains a vital part of youth life.
Kate Middleton and Melania awarded the children their ‘Go Wild’ badges, before the children honoured them with badges in return.
