KATIE Price took a swipe at ex Gareth Gates during her latest gig with Kerry Katona – 23 years after their controversial romance.
In 2003 Gareth, 41, confessed to the fling with former glamour model Katie, 47, which took place when he was just 17-years-old and she was six-months pregnant with son Harvey, now 23.
Last night Katie and Kerry, 45, took their tour to Gareth’s hometown of Bradford, and she didn’t hold back when the audience continued to bring up the former Pop Idol star.
According to local paper Telegraph & Argus, when she was heckled over the romance, Katie replied: “F*** Gareth Gates.”
Gareth initially denied Katie’s claims of a relationship between them, leaving the star furious.
But, after admitting to the fling a year after it took place, he later opened up about it during his 2014 appearance on The Big Reunion.
He said: “I denied the whole Jordan thing because I was 17, I didn’t want my family to find out about my sex life.
“If I hadn’t of lied it wouldn’t have been a big deal, my family, friends and fans wouldn’t have felt as let down I guess.”
In her 2021 book Harvey and Me, Katie savagely claimed their affair kick-started Gareth’s career.
She said: “I should have thought, ‘Katie, put it away. You’re pregnant – no one wants you.’
“But then again, hello Gareth Gates! He wanted a bit of Pricey – even when I was six months pregnant.
“He denied losing his virginity to me at first, but once he finally admitted it, wasn’t that when his career started? Anyway, swiftly moving on…”
Last night Katie – who was described as “sucking on her vape” throughout the show – performed her song I Got U for the audience, after it reached number one on the iTunes chart last month – eight years after its release.
Meanwhile it’s been reported Katie formed a “close bond” with Conor McGregor during their boozy trip to Ibiza earlier this year.
The friendship is said to have left her boyfriend JJ Slater “unimpressed” after they posed in cosy snaps.
According to the Daily Mail, JJ, 32, was so unhappy with the photos shared by Conor, 37, that he immediately unfollowed the UFC fighter on Instagram.
