KwaZulu-Natal will experience a mix of cloudy skies, fog in certain regions, and warm daytime conditions, with chances of afternoon showers in parts of the province.
Warm and breezy conditions
Despite the cloudy start, the province will warm up significantly. Pietermaritzburg is expected to reach 27°C, Richards Bay 26°C, and Ulundi around 26°C.
Guy highlighted that “KwaZulu-Natal will be partly cloudy to cloudy, with coastal highs ranging from 22°C to 27°C.” Breezy conditions are also likely, especially in the eastern parts of the province.
Afternoon shower chances
While most of the province will remain dry, localised showers in the late afternoon is possible. Areas along the coast and northeastern interior may see light rainfall.
“Showers may develop late in the afternoon, particularly in the coastal belt, but much of the province will stay warm and dry,” Guy explained.
