MAFS shock as bride arrives ALONE at first dinner party while another sobs on the floor in dramatic scenes

MAFS UK viewers are in for plenty of drama at the first dinner party of the series if the preview is anything to go by.

After all the nuptials and honeymoons have taken place, the couples all get to meet for a dinner party.

While some are loved up, the same can’t be said for some of their peers.

In the first look at the episode, the gang are seen gasping as one bride arrives by herself, with her groom nowhere to be seen.

Anita was introduced on Sundays episode, where she married Paul, but she was left cringing within seconds of clapping eyes on him.

While she initially said she hoped to get to know the man behind all the jokes, their honeymoon didn’t go too well as Paul was extremely vague about what he wanted from the marriage.

He claimed he didn’t know what marriage or love was, and it left Anita feeling like they didn’t have much hope of being a successful union,

And heading into the party alone, it certainly seems things haven’t improved between the pair once back in the UK.

It wasn’t the only drama in the preview though, as Julia-Ruth was seen breaking down in tears while hunched over on the floor.

Julia-Ruth and husband Divarni also didn’t have the perfect honeymoon, with the bride kicking her groom out of their suite after an explosive clash.

While they reconciled during Sunday’s episode – with Divarni apologising and performing a song for his new bride – it seems things take a turn again once back home.

At the table, she starts to cry as she says: “You are very negative.”

Seconds later she is then seen crouching on the floor in floods of tears saying: “I just wanted someone genuine.”

MAFS viewers were excited for the drama ahead, with one writing on X: “Roll on the first dinner party…”

Another commented alongside a gif of a room setting on fire: “Bring on the first dinner party.”

A third wrote: “Ahh I feel for Anita.”
