Mamelodi Sundowns are representing South Africa at the FIFA Club World Cup in the United States.
So, they will have the eyes of the nation on them as The Brazilians strive to wave the SA flag on the international stage. However, Sundowns aren’t the only South Africans who will feature in this global showpiece. In fact, some of the biggest names to ever feature in the PSL – including Orlando Pirates will be playing in the USA too.

Several Bafana Bafana stars such as Ronwen Williams, Teboho Mokoena and Themba Zwane will feature for The Brazilians.
EX-PIRATES AND BAFANA BAFANA STARS ON SHOW
Thembinkosi Lorch will run out for Moroccon outfit – Wydad. Furthermore, the ex-Pirates and Sundowns man is joined by another former Sundowns star – Cassius Mailula.
Both men will be coached by well-known and widely-respected ex-Pirates coach, Jose Riveiro.
Finally, another Bafana Bafana star and Chiefs target – Elias Mokwana will play for Esperance de Tunis.
MILLIONS AN ADDED BONUS AS HISTORY BECKONS
The reigning PSL champions player values have skyrocketed en route to qualifying for the FIFA CWB with players reaching the R50 million mark.
Meanwhile, The Brazilians now have the most valuable and expensive players in the PSL – with price tags of more than double some of Kaizer Chiefs and Orlando Pirates stars.
Speaking of big money, the further Sundowns go, the more valuable their players will become and the more money the club will make. For each group win, a club will receive R35 million. Whilst, a draw will still result in a R20 million payout in the group stages.
