A 73-YEAR-OLD man found dead in his own home has been named and pictured as the investigation into his murder continues.
David, also known as Davie, was found at his home in Raunds, Northamptonshire, on Wednesday afternoon.
Police have informed the 73-year-old’s heartbroken family who are being supported by specialist officers.
A murder investigation was sparked shortly after David’s body was discovered.
It remains ongoing as cops piece together the tragedy.
So far, Northamptonshire Police have made one arrest in connection with their probe, taking a 38-year-old woman into custody on suspicion of murder.
Cops swooped on her on Thursday and she remains in custody at this time.
Anyone with information that may assist the force’s investigation is being urged to come forward.
Detective Chief Inspector Johnny Campbell, who has strategic oversight of the murder investigation, said: “Our thoughts are with David’s family and friends at this deeply difficult time.
“We are working at pace to establish the circumstances of David’s death and I would ask anyone with information which could help us to please get in touch.”
