As reported in early June, one of Kaizer Chiefs’ new full-backs will be named Paseka Mako in the Betway Premiership next season. You know him from Orlando Pirates.
The Sea Robbers part ways with the 31-year-old on 7 June, and then 24 hours later, Mako sealed a sensational deal to join Soweto rivals Kaizer Chiefs.
Subsequent reports confirmed that the Zebediele-born star signed a three-year deal with Abafana Bokuthula Noxolo.

Known as “Computer,” the former Mamelodi Sundowns junior star not only offers defending and attacking zest as a left-back, but his discipline and consitency will stand out as super qualities.
Mako has been doing this thing for nearly 10 years.
The new Kaizer Chiefs number three started in the Motsepe Foundation Championship with the defunct Cape Town All Stars, before his top-flight career in Gqeberha with Chippa United in 2016, and then a glittering spell in Soweto with the mighty Orlando Pirates.

- Chippa United: 60 appearances with one goal and seven assists.

Additionally, Mako will further offer Kaizer Chiefs some much-needed continental experience as Amakhosi return to Africa next term. The feisty left-back has played 19 games in the CAF Confederation Cup and 13 times in the Champions League.
