‘New struggle song’: The Kiffness mocks Malema [watch]

The Kiffness has poked fun at Julius Malema’s guilty verdict for his unlawful use of a firearm by sharing his rendition of a “new struggle song.”

The outspoken muso even went as far as to spoof the Economic Freedom Fighter (EFF) leader’s decision to sing the Apartheid-era song, Kill The Boer.

THE KIFFNESS SPOOFS MALEMA’S GUILTY VERDICT

In an X post, The Kiffness – real name Dave Scott – poked fun at Julius Malema’s guilty verdict.

The controversial politician was found guilty of unlawful possession of a firearm and ammunition, discharging a firearm in a public place, reckless endangerment of people or property, and failing to take reasonable precautions to avoid danger.

“I don’t know about you guys. I think it’s time for another struggle song”, the muso shared, before bursting into a sing and dance that name-dropped the EFF leader and the likelihood of him going to jail.

In the comments section, X users had mixed views about The Kiffness seemingly mocking Apartheid-era song, Kill The Boer, in a “Zulu accent”.

The singer cheekily responded: “I call it the Carl Niehaus special”.

‘KILL THE BOER’ AFTER GUILTY VERDICT

Meanwhile, Julius Malema courted controversy once again over his decision to sing Kill The Boer outside the East London Magistrates Court, following his guilty verdict.

The 44-year-old told a crowd of supporters that he would be appealing the verdict. He is expected to return to court for pre-sentencing in January 2026.

He said: “We are going to the appeal and we’ll go to the Supreme Court.

“We’ll end up at the Constitutional Court. We are not fighting the case. We are fighting racism”.
