Actress and TV host Ntando Duma-Rambani has come under criticism for saying she would never date a man with kids.

The actress sparked a heated debate on X, especially because she had a child before marrying her husband, who doesn’t have kids.
The star recently got married to musician Una Rams, and they recently welcomed their baby girl.
In a clip from a recent interview on L-Tido’s podcast, shared by @MDNnewss on X, Duma revealed that she would never date a man with kids
“I’ve never dated a man with a child, and I had a child. It’s a preference thing, it’s not about being selfish. I don’t prefer it, and that’s that, so I won’t go for those people. There are too many people in the world, so I didn’t want someone with a child, not because I hated their children or wouldn’t know what to do with them.”

The Shaka ILembe actress was previously in a relationship with DJ Junior De Rocka, and together they have their first child, Sbahle.
She explained that choosing not to date a man with kids is her personal preference.
“It was just a preference thing, and I have a right to have preferences on who I want to date. The same way women say they want a man with a car, same for me; I would have never dated a man with a child, for my own reasons.”

Her remarks sparked controversy online, as social media users debated Duma’s statements, with many accusing her of embarrassing her husband.
Others argued it was premature for her to discuss her marriage publicly, especially in such a candid and controversial way.
