After spending a small fortune on tickets, Springbok fans joked about the underwhelming “flyover” at Cape Town’s DHL Stadium on Saturday, 23 August.
The boys in green and gold beat the Wallabies 30-22 in the second clash.
DHL STADIUM GOERS MOCK ‘FLYOVER’
On TikTok, Springbok fans have been posting clips of the DHL Stadium’s spoof “flyover”.
But instead of an Airbus or Boeing, stadium goers witnessed a small aircraft carrying a banner advertising the local strip club, Mavericks.
“Should have spent that R4k at Mavericks”, one TikToker commented, referring to the pricey match tickets.
Another joked: “Only in Cape Town”.
