Orlando Pirates are making big moves before the PSL transfer window even opens.
Orlando Pirates have reportedly signed FIVE players already.
Now, the Bucs are closing in on their SIXTH – another Bafana Bafana star is close to joining the Bucs.
PIRATES CLOSING IN ON SECOND BAFANA BAFANA STAR
According to The South African, Pirates have already signed Bafana Bafana attacker Sinoxolo Kwayiba.
So, he is the first national player who has reportedly joined the Bucs.
“Orlando Pirates have signed Sinoxolo Kwayiba from Chippa United to further strengthen their squad ahead of next season,” the report read on Phakaati.
However, he is not the only one they are after. In fact, Pirates are close to luring Bafana Bafana and AmaZulu winger and speedster, Tshepang Moremi to Mayfair.
“AmaZulu and Orlando Pirates are finding each other with their discussions regarding Tshepang Moremi,” a source told the outlet,” the insider stated on FARPost.
“I don’t see anything that can stop the deal from happening because Orlando Pirates are very serious about signing Moremi,” he added.
Moreover, Pirates want to build squad depth ahead of their return to the CAFCL next season.
“They are seeing him as a player who can come in for the next season and add value as they try to compete locally and on the African continent,” he concluded.
BUCS MAKING BIG MOVES
Pirates have already confirmed four departures.
Innocent Maela, Paseka Mako. Thabiso Monyane and Miguel Timm have all left the Bucs. Moreover, two outgoing Pirates players have reportedly signed for Kaizer Chiefs.
Meanwhile, Pirates have reportedly already signed these FIVE players.
So, if they manage to secure Moremi, he could become their sixth new signing.
