Orlando Pirates are clearing the decks to make another assault on the Betway Premiership title. Is this piece of business foolish?
Paseka Mako and Thabiso Monyane are both on the way out.
Meanwhile, the club continues to monitor Oswin Appollis, although the Bafana man is also in talks with Kaizer Chiefs.
Will Orlando Pirates regret releasing Mako?
31-year-old full-back Paseka Mako made 26 appearances across all competitions last term for Pirates. The compact left-sided star is much-loved by the fans. Another firm favourite, Deon Hotto, is 34 now and approaching the twilight of his stellar career. Is it foolish, therefore, to let go of Mako, who still has plenty to offer at this level?

Orlando Pirates miss out on Appollis?
In their search for a prolific wide man, Chiefs have reportedly reignited their interest in Polokwane and Bafana star Oswin Appollis. The 23-year-old was in action for South Africa in a 0-0 draw against Tanzania. Appollis is also a target for Pirates.

Would you have kept Mako?
