As Orlando Pirates continue to plot and plan for next season, the big focus point will of course revolve largely around who will replace former coach Jose Riveiro.
There are also a number of top players who have been linked with the Buccaneers in the ‘incoming’ column, and here we take a closer look.
Who are the top stars linked with a move to Orlando Pirates?
Sihle Nduli
The experienced midfielder is set to leave Stellenbosch FC, and according to SABC Sport, Orlando Pirates have offered him a three-year deal. He is set to come in as a replacement for Miguel Timm.
Kabelo Kgositsile
The Buccaneers are also said to have finalised a deal with the highly-regarded attacking star, who could join the Soweto giants from Baroka FC on a five-year deal.
Tshepo Mashiloane
For quite some time, Pirates have been linked with another Baroka player, Tshepho Mashiloane, who could come in to effectively replace Thabiso Monyane.
Yanela Mbuthuma
In another big move, SABC Sport has also just reported that Pirates have concluded a deal for Richards Bay forward Yanela Mbuthuma to further bolster their attacking options
Masindi Nemtajela
The 22-year-old has been strongly linked with a move to Pirates, with the Buccaneers reported to have beaten arch-rivals Kaizer Chiefs to secure the midfielder’s signature from Marumo Gallants.
Nkosikhona Ndaba
He is set to be the second player from Richards Bay to join Pirates during the current transfer window, with the 22-year-old defender certainly held in high regard.
Sinoxolo Kwayiba
This is another deal that is apparently signed and sealed, with the Chippa United and Bafana Bafana star set for a big move to Pirates ahead of the new season.
