Pamela Anderson has firmly denied claims that her romance with co-star Liam Neeson was a publicity stunt.
The actress spoke at the Deauville American Film Festival in France on Friday.
PAMELA ANDERSON ON PR STUNTS
She was honoured with the Deauville Talent Award and described PR stunts as “a death sentence.”
“I do not and will never feed into PR stunts,” Anderson told the festival audience. “I’m authentically driven. I’m superstitious when it comes to love, and I’m not comfortable sharing any shred of my romantic life.”
PAMELA ANDERSON AND LOVE ON SCREEN
Pamela Anderson insisted that her job as an actress is to fall in love on screen, saying, “If we do it well, you will feel it, a kind of projection. It is the greatest compliment.
So please think positively. And I appreciate your good wishes. No silly games are being played. I’m sincere.”
THE NAKED GUN PRESS TOUR
Earlier this year, rumours swirled during the press tour for their movie The Naked Gun that the pair were romantically involved.
Both Pamela Anderson, 58, and Neeson, 73, have two sons each, and their affectionate and PDA-filled appearances sparked much speculation.
A source said that in July that their romance was “budding” and “sincere,” with the co-stars “smitten with each other.”
CHEMISTRY ON SET ON THE NAKED GUN
A TMZ report claimed the actors had not even met between filming and the press tour, casting doubt on the authenticity of their relationship.
Nonetheless, Pamela Anderson has pushed back hard against those claims. She insists there are no “silly games” behind their friendship and connection, according to Page Six
WHAT ARE PR RELATIONSHIPS?
Celebrity PR teams carefully orchestrate partnerships in the industry, like people are speculating about The Naked Gun press tour.
These teams design the partnerships to boost publicity, improve image, or promote projects rather than create genuine romance.
HOW PR RELATIONSHIPS WORK
They often time these relationships to coincide with movie releases, album drops, or key PR career moments to attract media attention and fan interest.”
For example, couples like Nick Jonas and Priyanka Chopra used their high-profile relationship to secure multiple brand deals. They turned their romance into a lucrative marketing machine.
PR MARKETING AND INAUTHENTICITY
Despite their fascination, PR relationships skate the fine line between clever marketing and inauthenticity., Fans get increasingly eager to unmask the truth behind celebrity romances.
These relationships show how love in the limelight has become a strategic performance as much as an emotional bond.
