Kaizer Chiefs are hard at work in the Netherlands having recently touched down in the European country.
Chiefs are expected to spend close to three weeks in the country, as they step up their 2025/26 season preparations.
Chiefs set to play top opposition in the Netherlands
While in the Netherlands, Chiefs will be testing themselves against Dutch opposition in some friendly matches. Furthermore, their jam-packed schedule will see them play against some high profile top flight clubs as they sharpen up for the new campaign. In a schedule released by the club, they confirmed overall fixtures against the likes of Vitesse, FC Utrecht, NEC Nijmegen, PEC Zwolle and FC Twente.
“Amakhosi landed at Amsterdam Airport late Friday morning after an 11-hour direct flight from Johannesburg’s OR Tambo. A bus took the Glamour Boys to the Bilderberg Hotel De Keizerskroon in Apeldoorn with the players enjoying a loosening up session in the late afternoon on a grass area just across Het Loo Palace, where the Dutch royal family used to live. The area where the pre-season camp will be held is beautiful with trees all over. It’s summer in the Netherlands.” Wrote the Chiefs website on their arrival in the Netherlands thus far.
Check out the new training tops
Chiefs have, however, since hit the ground running on Saturday, quite literally as the players went on a morning run earlier. In the pictures that have been provided, they are seen spotting a new training jersey from Kappa. This being a slick white and gold jersey. Take a look below!
Furthermore, new Chiefs signings Thabiso Monyane, Ethan Chislett and Flavio Silva have also been seen spotting their new colours. Surely, the Amakhosi faithful subsequently cannot wait to see their new men in action, chiefly against top opposition.
