A PUB in Battersea has closed ahead of a huge renovation – that will see it become a 500-person adult-only playground.
It will have an upgraded arcade and will host themed parties but don’t worry, you can still enjoy a Sunday roast there too.

The pub in question is The Four Thieves which is well-known in South London for being an entertainment hub.
Inside it was known for its remote-controlled race track called the Moonshine Raceway, having retro arcade games, VR games, a crazy golf course, and table tennis.
However, the pub recently announced it will soon be bigger and better following a £1million refurbishment.
In August, the pub announced the news on social media, it said: “The Thieves are about to pull off their biggest job yet. We’ll be closed from Sunday 24th August for a 1mil+ renovation.
“Keep your eyes peeled. You don’t want to miss this score.”
In another Instagram post, it said that it would be “stepping into a new era” to become a “500-capacity playground for adults”.
Inside will be “games, performances and nights out” that “push the boundaries of the traditional pub”.
The pub is set across four floors, on the top level will be the Gambit arcade where visitors can get competitive with a game of darts, pool and racing.
There will also be popular games like Mario Kart and House of the Dead – a zombie video game.
Downstairs, there will be a host of live performances as well as ABBA parties, Taylor Swift socials, cabaret shows, and themed brunches.

Speaking of food, of course it’s still a pub so expect to have some great grub too.
There will be a choice of brunch dishes, classic Sunday roasts, as well as other tasty choices like Pad Thai and burgers.
It’s not just the gaming part that’s getting refreshed, the interior is getting a refresh too.

There will be a sleek dark blue bar surrounded by tables and large booths, all from which you can see the performance platforms.
The renders also show a huge disco ball hanging from the ceiling to bring the party vibe.
The Four Thieves Pub is just off Lavender Hill and has been known for years for its live music, pub quizzes and comedy nights.
It’s a popular spot with one visitor describing it on Tripadvisor as “a hidden gem of Clapham Junction” and a “nostalgic night out”.
It will open with its new look on November 1, 2025.
Discover Another New Adult-Only Indoor Playground With Pub Games…

Travel Reporter Cyann Fielding visited the new adults-only playground called Fairgame City…
“Fairgame City has opened its doors in the heart of London, with traditional kids’ favourites alongside 18-plus items like cocktails and beer – calling itself ‘the best place to play’.
“The ultimate feast for the eyes though, was toward the back of the room where I found the carnival-like games.
“It was as if I had stepped into The Rydell High Carnival from Grease, transporting me to an American carnival full of thrilling games for competitive play.
“And that is just what I did… left the day job behind and started counting points, not pennies.
“There are 12 games in total and each group (so yourself and your friends) gets 90 minutes of play.
“But beware, this may seem like a while but it really isn’t, as each player gets two rounds of each game, so you have 24 activities to get through in a short space of time.”
