The Duke of Sussex, Prince Harry and his father, King Charles have reportedly reunited.
PRINCE HARRY REUNITES WITH KING CHARLES
King Charles and his estranged son, Prince Harry have reportedly reunited after 19 months. The last time Prince Harry had seen King Charles was reportedly in February 2024, when the monarch revealed that he was being treated for cancer. King Charles did not disclose the type of cancer.
According to People, Prince Harry was seen arriving by car to King Charles’ London residence around 17:20 on 10 September. The publication reports that he was inside for an estimated 55 minutes before he left.
Buckingham Palace confirmed that the King had a private tea at Clarence House with Prince Harry and stated no further details would be shared.
WHY WAS THE DUKE OF SUSSEX IN THE UK?
Prince Harry was reportedly in the UK to support some of his charities. After arriving inthe UK, Prince Harry paid tribute to his grandmother, Queen Elizabeth on the third anniversary of her death on 8 September. He then attended the WellChild Awards. The next day, he travelled to Nottingham to highlight the work being done for young people there.
Prince Harry has recently called for support against wounded troops. He has urged wounded Ukrainian soldiers to lean on their loved ones, encouraging them to share their struggles instead of staying silent.
The Duke of Sussex previously expressed that he would “love” a reunion with his father, following their strained relationship in recent years. Prince Harry and his wife Meghan Markle stepped down from their royal duties back in 2020 and moved to California, where they started a new life with their kids – Archie (5) and Lilibet (3).
