LE CREUSET’S pumpkin-shaped casserole might fit the Halloween theme and be perfect for cooking comforting meals – but it can be hard on the pocket.
However, Sainsbury’s is selling a dupe that resembles the high-end version and is £274 cheaper than the real thing.

Whether you’re cooking up a cosy winter stew or just like the look of pumpkin decor, this casserole dish is the perfect addition to your kitchen.
The Sainsbury’s Home Casserole Dish is priced at £15 and comes in bright orange with a novel stalk-shaped handle on the lid.
And at this price, if your home is over-run with trick-or-treaters every year, this hefty 2.1 litre dish also makes the perfect sweet bowl.
The official description states: “Get ready to dish up the taste of autumn. Hot chilli, warming stew or steaming soup, it’s a seasonal showstopper.”

This high-end Le Creuset version is available in six other colours[/caption]
The best-selling Cast Iron Pumpkin Casserole is listed for £289 from the brand’s website.
As well as the classic pumpkin orange shade, this high-end version is available in six other colours.
The pricier buy features more lifelike aspects, including an extravagant stem handle with a “comfortable grip”.
And the cast iron construction helps to retain heat for even cooking and browning.
It is also designed to lock in moisture, with a tight-fitting lid to further enhance flavour.
Sainsbury’s Count Up To Christmas offer
Sainsbury’s has brought back a popular Nectar card offer in the build-up to Christmas.
Launched in 2002, the Nectar card is a loyalty card scheme run by the retailer.
This promotion will be available to customers from October 1 to November 11.
Shoppers can join Nectar Count Up To Christmas via the Nectar app and click the “Join the challenge” button for entry.
Under the Nectar card scheme, customers collect points when buying certain products or goods, in-store and online and you receive one loyalty point for every £1 spent.
You also get one point for every £1 spent on fuel bought at Sainsbury’s petrol stations and can pick up points at hundreds of partners as well, including Esso and eBay.
You can register and download an e-Nectar Card by downloading the app on your smartphone.
You then swipe it every time you shop and the points are added to your account, which can be used to get money off future purchases.
Earlier this year, it was revealed a huge change was coming to the Nectar Card scheme.
