SAINSBURY’S website and app has gone down, leaving shoppers unable to order their groceries online.

Customers have also taken to social media to complain of being locked out of their Sainsbury’s account when trying to order a grocery delivery.
One shopper, who said they were unable to log in to their account to do their online food shop, posted a screenshot of a message on the Sainsbury’s website which read: “Service temporarily unavailable. Please try again later.”
“@sainsburys is there an issue with your online groceries site? Was midway through my shop and it suddenly stopped letting items be added, and now I can’t log back in,” one posted to X.
Another wrote: “Why can’t I log in to your website at the moment? It appears you have a major issue.”
Last year, Sainsbury’s customers were left fuming after the supermarket suffered a tech meltdown, causing home deliveries to be cancelled.
Tesco was also affected by the IT issue, causing its customers to have their home deliveries cancelled.
The Sun has contacted Sainsbury’s for comment.
