THIS is the terrifying moment another Spanish holiday destination is flooded as storms continue to ravage the country.
Spain’s eastern region of Valencia was put under red alert today, a year after biblical downpours killed more than 230 people there.

The country’s meteorological agency AEMET warned of “extraordinary danger” and a “very complicated situation” as storms pummelled the region.
Almost 200mm of rain fell in under eight hours, it added.
Prime Minister Pedro Sánchez also urged locals to follow guidance issued by emergency services in a bid to avoid last year’s devastation.
Shocking footage shows roads turned into fast-flowing rivers after storms plunged the tarmac underwater.
Cars appear upturned and residents are seen desperately shovelling the murky stream away from their homes.
Overnight showers pummelled Aldaia, one of Valencia’s hardest hit areas in last year’s infamous floods.
Libraries, schools and parks remain closed with classes expected to resume tomorrow.
Meanwhile, storm-ravaged roads have caused mounting traffic across the region.
No injuries have yet been reported.
Following the storms in Tarragona earlier this week, Catalonia’s Interior Minister, Núria Parlon enforced the need to “not let our guard down”.
Torrential rains caused a ceiling to collapse at the Amposta Primary Care Center in the region.
Sánchez previously called for locals to take “great caution” in the face of the heavy rains.
He said on X: “Let us follow the instructions of the civil protection agency and the emergency services at all times.”
In Tarragona, heartstopping clips showed lightning strike as rain pummelled roads in Zaragoza on Sunday night.
Trees were left barely standing as the intense weather tore through towns.
Shocking videos also show drivers trapped in their vehicles in the middle of raging torrents as they wait for rescuers to save them.
The deluge has also left authorities warning of extra flash floods and extreme weather which could continue right through to Tuesday.
The Civil Protection Agency urged locals to avoid unnecessary travel and insisted they stay at home where possible while the area is under red alert.
Streets and tunnels quickly become “death traps”, the organisation added, reminding residents to avoid these areas even if not immediately flooded.
