South African pastor sets NEW date for ‘Rapture’

South African preacher Joshua Mhlakela has set a new date for the “Rapture,” which he claims will happen “days from now.”

The pastor made international headlines earlier this month after he shared his prophecy that the Biblical event would take place on 23 or 24 September.

He has now suggested that the event follows the Julian calendar, and not the Gregorian calendar.

SA PREACHER SETS NEW DATE FOR RAPTURE

Speaking on the Centtwinz TV YouTube channel, Pastor Josha Mhlakela spoke out for the first time after his prediction of the “Rapture” did not come to pass.

The outspoken preacher stood by his message from God, insisting that it followed the Julian calendar, which is 13 days ahead of the Gregorian calendar, which is commonly used.

According to Mhlakela, the new “Rapture” date is set for 7 or 8 October.

“The 7th and 8th of October is the real Feast of the Trumpets. I’m a billion percent sure.”

Mhlakela claimed that he questioned God on why the event did not take place this week.

“He said [to me]: ‘Days from now, I will Rapture my church’”

Claiming that Jesus used the Julian calendar, he added: “That’s why it didnt make sense ot me why the Rapture never took place”

He added: “The delay had to be fulfilled…Keep the lamp burning. Let the fire of faith in you not go out.”

‘A FOOL FOR JESUS’

Meanwhile, Afrikaner gospel singer Danie Botha has apologised to his fans and followers after he also predicted that the “Rapture” would occur this week.

Botha claimed he was “disappointed and heartbroken” that his prediction – he claimed was revealed by God himself – did not come to pass.

“I am very, very sorry.” Botha added that he had suffered financial loss.

Although he admitted to getting the date wrong, Botha claimed that there were “signs of the ‘end times’.”
