The Springboks will be desperate to bounce back against the All Blacks this weekend in Wellington after they saw their tour to New Zealand kick off with a disappointing defeat at Eden Park.
Although the Springboks were within one converted try of snatching a draw in Auckland, their performance was strewn with team and individual errors, and Rassie Erasmus acknowledged that fans might be starting to become ‘gatvol’.
It’s added more pressure on the team to produce a vastly-improved performance, and to start looking like a team worthy of the title of world champions.
The good news is that the Springboks have a chance to immediately bounce back against the All Blacks this Saturday in Wellington.

Rassie Erasmus said they would regroup and try to fix the errors that cost them.
“Seven days later, we have the opportunity to beat New Zealand and stay in the mix for the Rugby Championship.
“It’s like any other loss. It was away from home against the world’s No 1 team, but it doesn’t make the loss any easier to take.”
